Clinched Standard Duty Belting

Standard duty clinched selvage flat wire belts are suitable for most general conveying applications. These belts are available in three different mesh sizes and widths ranging from 4 1/8" to 240".

All of Keystone's belts are made with a round edge strip for safe handling and smooth conveying. Our conveyor belts can be supplied in four materials: low carbon galvanized steel, C-1050 bright high carbon steel and types 304 and 316L stainless steel. Other alloys are available when specially ordered.

Clinched selvage belts have a strong edge that reduces the chance of the belt snagging or catching on conveyor protrusions.

This type of selvage also provides for better edge wear on misaligned conveyor systems and, under heavy loads, clinched selvage helps to mechanically prevent a belt from narrowing.

Sprockets may only be placed in the outside drive openings for the 1" x 1" mesh when using standard duty clinched edge belting. There is not enough clearance in the outside openings of a 1/2" x 1" mesh to be able to position a sprocket in those spaces.
